Behind The Scenes of a Fashion Shoot

I was lucky enough to assist the stylist on two shoots for a fashion brand last month. The first day was for a campaign, which is all over the London underground now (exciting!) and the other was for their website. It was great fun, although manic at times, and the team (models, make-up artist, hair stylist, stylist, art director, editor, photographer, photographer's assistants - I think that's everyone!!) were great. As the stylist's assistant I was basically getting the clothes ready (unpacking, steaming etc) so the stylist could choose what she wanted to use. I then helped dress the models and did some running about getting props for the shoot (I had to run to co-op for that ice-cream she's eating). The photos look amazing - it helps that the team are all so talented and know exactly how they want it to look.

Here are some photos for you to see just what goes into those shots you see in magazines and adverts.
